Issues with latest Blue Cave firmware?

Hi everyone.

I've had a Blue Cave for a few years now and despite what seem like mixed results for some its been rock solid for me and better performing than the 68u it replaced. In other words, I was really happy with it.

That is until the new firmware came out this month - 3.0.0.4.384.46417
It brought what appears some critical fixes including DNS exploit plugging and other improvements. After I installed it would consistently drop the connection overnight and only a continuous modem...

Hi all. I recently purchased a new 2020 Chromecast with Google TV, but am having some headaches with its WiFi...Only this device will not see my 5GHz network, and is constantly losing connection to the 2.4GHz network. YazFi possible to merge 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz as a single subnet?

Hi,

New AC68U YazFi user here and what a wonderful add-on. Just a question, is it possible to merge GuestNetwork's 2.4 and 5Ghz as single subnet? from the UI and Config, it seems each wifi 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz has to be separated subnet. My goal is each Guest network have both 2.4 and 5Ghz wifi and the 2 frequencies combine as single subnet so the clients on Guest1 can talk to each other even they are on different wifi frequency. Thanks.

Hi,

Please excuse my crude illustration. I'm looking for an answer for what is potentially a simple issue. As you can see I have the main router which broadcasts 2.4 and 5ghz (red). I would like this to be extended to the blue node at the other end of the house so everything is on the same subnet (again, in red). Then I'd like a second wifi network which exists on another subnet and doesn't interact with the red network at all. I've done this by setting up a guest network but it seems that...

I'm preparing to buy a new house and planning out my network. It was built in 2003 and has coax outlets in just about every room, so I'm thinking MoCA will be a good solution for me, at least until I can evaluate the possibility of running CAT6 everywhere.

I've been spending the past week researching MoCA and have found woefully limited technical documentation on how it really works. What I'm wanting to find out at this point, is how bandwidth might degrade once you start adding more than 2...

AX86u merlin slow connection to x570 chipset (realtek) but fine on everything else.

So, I checked around, saw a few wifi slow downs but not this:
I ran Merlin beta3, beta5 and v1.0 on ax86u and relatively same issue: (beta 3 was 120/6, beta 5 was 75/6, 1.0 is 120/6)

I speed test internet on the router I get 120/35
I speed test on iPhone I get 120/35
I speed test on laptop I get 120/35

On my brand new 3900xt, msi x750 wifi tomahawk, with the same speedtests I get:
120/6 Wired,
120/6 Wireless.
But with Asus default firmware it was working full speed. I had wifi stability...

Unfortionally this isnt working for me anymore, not sure what i did wrong but im quite sure its something on my end as it worked on my previous installation.
Yesterday i clean installed Merlin 386.1on my AX86 router and formatted the USB drive i have in it.
Installed Diversion again, then spdMerlin followed by uiDivStats and have a 2Gb swapfile active on it.
When going to LAN>uiDivStats i can see the page but there is no content at all in the graphs or filter field.

BTTV stopped working with latest firmware on RT-AX92u

Last week my BTTV channels, which use multicast, stopped working out of the blue
I assumed it might be a problem on BTs end, but when i looked at the router, there was a firmware update on the RT-AX92U.
It updated to 3.0.0.4.386_41712 the night before it stopped working

Im on fibre broadband, and the ax92 is connected directly to the ONS and i have an RT-AC5300 in Aimesh, connected via a wireless backhaul.

386.1 Possible upload issue?

Single I upgraded to 386.1 (and now 381.1_2) I have noticed a strange upload problem. I am running AX58U as main and RT-AC1750 B1 as mesh node. On any video calls like Whatsapp, facetime, etc the other party has started to say that my video is blurry. I can see their video just fine. When I do a speed test on one of the public sites, the download goes smooth but the upload "jitters" for the lack of a better term.. meaning it would try to measure upload for 2 seconds then hang/stop for 1...

AC68U Nodes - packet loss and time outs.

Hello

I come here after a long journey...and I need your help in this manner.

I have an AX3000 (AX58U) main router.
additional two AC68U's AiMesh nodes (one was AC1900 and the other one is AC68R)
Both nodes are connected via 1Gb CAT-5e cable to the main (the AX router).
firmware 386.1_2

It seems that when I'm connected to the nodes, I get a HUGE packet loss and disconnections, I can barely use the internet nor downloading files in a steady connection.
