Script to email log of traffic

I've got an old DD-WRT router which is starting to have issues and am looking at updating to an Asus as love the User interface etc.

I haven't decided on a specific model yet.

What I'd really like to do is have a log emailed to me of the traffic from specific devices connected to my network. Is this possible with a unique script ?

I.e. Have a traffic log of what my sons iPad/laptop/phone is connecting to Twitter, websites etc etc. I know I can get this from logging into the router but...
