AC66U - Upgraded firmware now can not access Web Interface

Hi Merlin - so I just installed the latest firmware, and now I cant access the web interface when I go to 192.168.1.254. The internet is working fine, both hardwired (through router) and the wifi. However, in addition to not being able to access the web interface I also now get an error when I right click the connection and diagnose " Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings' this error doesn't show up when I go straight from modem to computer.
