ASUS WRT VPN

Hi Guys,

I just bought an Asus router and like to know how I can modify the router with additional security.
Have seen in the WEB area that the VPN is offered I have seen VPN and Open VPN is available.

I like also to view content from BBC but as I'm not living in UK i get stuck by the GEO block.

Hope really that anybody of you Nerds can guide me in the right direction.
