I have a Netgear WNDR3700vV1 and ASUS RT-AC66R (U) sitting next to each other. I've disabled the 5ghz radio on the netgear and 2.4ghz radio on the asus to reduce interference and load. Is this a good setup to have to get best performance out of both these devices (w.r.t range and throughput)? I'll not be able to relocate any of them to have any kind of meaningful separation between them. Many of my client devices are on 2.4 but newer ones will hopefully connect to 5ghz even...
