I'm looking into buying an AC56/AC68 router and looking forward to using RMerlin's firmware. However I have a problem with my provider's ethernet WAN link. From time to time the provider's cheap switch gets in a weird state and my WAN activity port led keeps blinking furiously (as if there is a lot of traffic), while tcpdump shows nothing. The way to fix this is to unplug the RJ45 plug, count to 3 and plug it back in.
I would like to know if the routers above offer a port...
