Clients list custom icons size/format guidelines?

Is there any guidelines in order to create custom icons for clients list?
It looks like they are .png, but what are exact dimesions? Also I guess that the "mouse over" effect is done using a second .png but maybe it is only one single .png including mouse over/mouse off?
